Welcome to Our School

The School of Engineering in the Catholic University of America offers on-site graduate programs for the employees of the Fort Belvoir Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD), as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWC-CD), leading to the Master of Science in Engineering. The students can take a variety of courses in Electrical Engineering and Computer science, Mechanical Engineering as well as Engineering Management.
The goal of these degree programs is to provide students with both theoretical underpinnings and in-depth, real-world practitioner expertise in signal/image Processing, Acoustics, Antennas, Electromagnetic Propagation, Vibrations, Controls, and Thermal-Fluid Sciences, Engineering Management courses, and core technical courses that support the accompanying research areas; the curricula could lead to a Ph.D in engineering. All courses will be conducted on-site at Fort Belvoir, VA, and Carderock, MD.
