Biography
Jae Choi's research interests include visualization, computer graphics, medical image processing and analysis, noninvasive image-guided procedure, and bioinformatics. After receiving his doctoral degree, he joined a spin-off company, Infinitt Technology(http://www.infinitt.com), as the Chief Technology Officer where he worked on developing 3D medical imaging applications. Before joining Catholic University, he was a research assistant professor of radiology at Georgetown University Medical Center. He was responsible for developing a program in surgical planning at Georgetown University Hospital working with radiologists and surgeons to support a surgical planning capability in various areas such as transplant, tumor resection, and transbronchial biopsy.
