 An exploration of engineering & computer science for high school students.

June 25 - June 30, 2006

Educational Component

Eye on Engineering & Computer Science helps participants learn about course work leading to degrees in engineering and to discover the rewarding career opportunities in diverse engineering fields.  Each program day contains at least one of the following:

  • Plenary sessions, where distinguished faculty and leading professionals discuss contemporary engineering and computer science issues as well as rapidly emerging and changing technologies
  • Seminars lead by faculty about engineering curricula and careers
  • Discussions on the issues college students and young professionals face

The educational component is designed to provide valuable information and give the participants a chance to see for themselves who engineers are and what they do.
